2004 Pan American Public Health Reporting Awards

The Pan American Public Health Reporting Awards were established to recognize excellence in coverage of international public health issues in daily newspapers and magazines in the United States.

Submission Guidelines
Entries must deal with a public health issue or topic and must have been published between November 1, 2003 and December 31, 2004. Submissions are accepted in English, Spanish, Portuguese or French. Entrants must submit original clipping and three photocopies in letter size and the completed entry form.

Selection
All entries will be judged by an independent panel established by the PAHO Public Information Area. Winners will be announced in May 2005.

Awards
First place winners in each of the two categories will win a $1,500 cash prize.

Deadline
