VII Interagency Meeting on Stop TB in the Americas (Lima, Peru, 4–5 December 2007) The objectives of this meeting were to: stimulate the formation of Stop TB partnerships in all priority countries; disseminate the achievements and challenges faced when implementing the Global Plan to Stop TB; determine the level of implementation of the new Stop TB strategy both globally and in the priority countries, as well as partner participation; look at successful experiences in Advocacy–Communication–Social Mobilization (ACSM) and the participation of those affected, and stimulate the implementation of the fifth component of the Stop TB strategy.
