Central American Network for the Prevention and Control of Emerging and Reemerging Diseases (RECACER)
In 2001, following several high-level health-sector meetings, the countries of the Central American subregion identified the need for structuring and/or strengthening national early warning and rapid-response systems. Thus was created the Central American Network for the Prevention and Control of Emerging and Reemerging Diseases (RECACER). This page serves as a fact sheet on RECACER and provides access to the Network meeting reports.  (20/Feb/2003)
