TB Strategies to Meet the Millennium Development Goals: Regional Meeting of Heads of National TB Programs (NTPs) (Mexico City, 7–9 September 2004)
The final report (in Spanish) has just been published for this biannual meeting, the objectives of which were to become acquainted with the epidemiological and operational situation of TB of each country; evaluate progress made in applying the DOTS Strategy and in meeting the 2005 goals; become acquainted with the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT), the action plan, and the extent of DOTS application in those countries that will not achieve total coverage by 2005; to evaluate compliance with agreements and recommendations made at the last meeting in Cuba in 2002; and review and discuss the Regional Action Plan.   (17/May/2005)
